A Moscow oriental restaurant, next to the Kurskaya metro station, was formerly called "Chaymahal". After the renaming into "Dirham", an appropriate rebranding was required.
The name of the restaurant was given by the UAE coin, which it was decided to display in the logo. Moreover, the depiction of dallah on the one Arab dirham coin helped to maintain the theme.
